Well, when it comes to run any Android app or apk file on your PC, you first think of  an emulator that you will use to install and run your desired android apps on PC. Running android apps on an emulator acts the same way as an android device.

However, there are some functions and customization options available on emulators that do not work properly as on a real an Android device. Despite of the weakness of emulators, still help users to run android apps on their PC.

Let's focus on emulators, there are various emulators around the web that are useful and will run android apps as you wish. However, not all emulators will run the apps without issues. But most apps perform well on emulators.

In order to run apps on emulators without issues, I suggest you to use one of these emulators; BlueStacks, Memu, Nox Player. They are my favorite emulators, you will not encounter any issues while using them unless you are using a low-end PC.

But for the case of this tutorial will be discussing more about how you can run android apps on PC without emulator. It's possible and very easy, does require you to follow my precious guide to the end. So, let's jump over the procedures.

So, below are the procedures to run android apps on PC without emulator.


Step 1. Download the latest version of Google Chrome browser and install on your PC.

Step 2. After installing Google Chrome, go to it's web store and search for  ARC Welder extension.

Step 3. Once you find the extension, download and install it on your Google Chrome browser.

Step 4. Then navigate to the top right corner of Google Chrome browser. You will see three dots, tap on them and navigate to More Tools > Extensions to find the ARC Welder extension. Or tap on Apps at the top left corner near the search bar to find the extension.


Step 5. After that, click on the extension to launch it. Once it is opened, you will face on-screen instructions. Get started by choosing a directory where the extension can write files to your filesystem.


Step 6. Once done, click on Add your APK. Now, you will be able to add your desired APK file.

Step 7. Now, navigate to the directory you saved the APK file and select to open.

Step 8. Once you've done so, the APK file will load on the extension and some other options will appear for you to customize upon your priority. E.g Landscape/Portrait e.t.c

Step 9. Now, it's time to launch the APK file, simply click on Test and wait a few minutes for the APK to launch. The app will display as long as it is an APK file, can be a game or something else.


That's it. You can now run android apps on PC without emulator. However, you can still use the available emulators to run android apps. But in case you are using a low-end PC, I suggest the above guide.
