According to the current media reports, the official research program for 6G technology has already started in China. Earlier this week, the government of China and other research institutes had a meeting  to form a national 6G technology research and development group.



The race to become a country with fast mobile services has been a major point of competition between the United States and China over the last few months.


Although, China had plans to launch the world's first fast Internet service early next year, fast-paced competition between the USA and China has forced China to expand its 6G technology. China made a decision after the country's 3 largest telecom companies launched 5G mobile devices worldwide.
